    Wild Natives Block

Two mates and I have managed to draw the Wild Natives block 4th period. Have watched all the relevant YouTube vids about three times but also interested to get any advice from people who have hunted there in the last few years. Also if you got the other three spots for that period we would love to talk to ya!

It’s considered polite to introduce yourself here before asking for info, anyway you have drawn a good block, good luck.

Sudz.hs......You are after advice from people who have hunted there in the last few years......Just do your current research.

Can't help you much. I was there way back in 1972...was a good year for hunting in NZ during that period.....We saw some 300 deer for 3 weeks. Landscape probably hasn't changed that much? Just follow the rules of Fiordland bush travel. Have a good trip.

1972 and nearly 2022 some 50 years ago? Perhaps in some parts of the country there is perhaps more deer now than in 1972? But in Fiordland National Park in the Wild Native river area the amount of deer numbers to be seen at the present time will be.....?
