    Wild Skills Queenstown

Do any of you guys had any experience with Wild skills in Queenstown?

My butchery skills are very very basic and it's something I want to be better at. This guy offers a day workshop and it seems to be relevant.

get an animal and offer butcher a box of beer or cash to show you what to do. its one thing I miss about having goats nearby..they are perfect to teach what to do with a deer/pig.
I had fumbled along for years...brought deer home and had butcher friends show me what to do..was HORRIFIED at how hard they trimmed steak...Ive since learnt better. used to have lots of ok steak and some casserole. these days I have smaller quantity of awesome steak..no silverskin other than on round steaks which I usually seem to end up doing just before goes in pan anyway!!! and anything that wont make gret steak goes into mince or off to butchers for sausages/savs.
as to origonal question..no idea, surely someone closer to you will help you..tag along with a home kill guy for a day and you will pick up heaps of tips.
