    Wildlife hut Pureoras

    Hi Guys

Does anyone know how the track to Wildlife hut in the Pureoras is in the wet? A few of us are heading there tomorrow and debating which vehicle to take. Will an AWD softroader get there or should we take the mates Jimny?
We ideally will be staying in the hut but if its full we will just camp on one of the tracks

    Cheers

Was just looking at that on Google earth the other day. There's a YouTube video showing the entire drive to the hut from the rd I think. Looks tame as

Its nice gravel to the turnoff to the hut and then its quite narly for the last few hundred meters to the hut. Definitely need a 4x4 for the last stretch

Yep one or two narly bits so definitely the jimny. Only has 4 bunks so be prepared to sleep outside this time of year. Could be busy.
