I've been in the Lewis Pass the last few days and came across a couple of freshly used wallows too, one only just out of the river flats. Been some hard frosts here recently so was interesting to see animals so low down

I was in that area the last few days and shot a deer at 1500m, haha seems like they're at all elevation levels. One of the deer had a bald patch on its back. I wonder if that was from lice hmmm.
