    wish us luck

im taking my little daughter (6) on her first deer hunting trip . Hollys looking forward to it ,so am I . Will be a 2 hr walk ,all up into a small wee basin that pretty much gets left alone even though its on doc land . We taking the dog so holly is so excited , as the two of them are best of mates. So we all packed for a over night stay , should be a good chance of seeing a deer or two if its not had a look at , either way will be fun .

Way to go Munsey. Good skills and look after the little one.

Thanks for the encouragement folks and merry christmass to all . Just a quick report on our trip , we had a ball . The walk up the hill was a bit on the tuff side for little holly , so we changed course a wee bit and made camp early . Had a early night , up at 5 ish to finish the final accent to the basin. No Deer to be seen , we waited for sun to burn off the fog still no Deer . That was all good as we had had fun . So was an easy walk off the hill and back to the big smoke in time for Santa .
