Good luck to those who were successful................commiserations to those who were not...............

I missed out for the 7th year running but luckily one of my hunting buddies managed to get one and has invited me along............( probably wants me to show him where the deer are)

I will give those who have a ballot an update on the blocks as we get closer to the time.

Make sure you read all the papers that come with your notification. Every year while on patrol I get approached by hunters who complain they were not given a doe permit. Buried in the 'Notice to successful Applicant' is a reference to getting a doe permit.
When hunters ask why they didn't get one, my first question is " Did you read the papers"?
They invariably reply "Yes"
I then point out that they cant have...........cos if they did they would have seen the 'Application for a Doe permit' :D
Reading, its fundamental!!!!

Bum, I don't even have someone to bludge off on that list :(
