For me I would watch the feeding patterns of other animals a few days before you go , If you close to any dairy cows watch what they do and when they feed . I always come down from the top of a hill onto grass areas at feeding time. Ambush the deer, is a good way of having a choice of what you have to shoot . Good hunting is to get up early ,climb high to your hunting ground and take a choice or shoot what is available early in the day. Now the works starts from there.
