Pick a high spot and do some scoping if you are hunting in a young pine forest, watch the wind as mentioned because Woodhill has deer for Africa. If its a hot day, they are likely to be under a tree cooling of from what I've seen.
They appear to be a little tame and have caught them in herds quite often too, so your chances are high if you take it easy with a bit of luck. At once I had them in arms reach, first catching their aroma then exchanged a 2 minute "Who the heck are you" look with a young fawn within meters from me.
