I was in block 7 recently and looking across the road I can say there's a huge clearing of recently felled trees at the furthest south end of the block.

Any sighting recently? For example time and South / Centre / North side of the block 6?

Yes. 2 inexperienced Hunters, one of then shot a spiker. saw lots of deer including 1 mob of 20. The pictures he sent me show he was mostly inside the pines which were very open with 100m plus visibility. Looks like you should do Ok in there.

Couple of mates in there 3 weeks ago saw over 50 deer with some big mobs on the edge of the open pines early. Deer moving back into the small pines by 7.30am but came back out about 30 minutes before the light faded.
Their advice is find where the runs come out of the tight pines then some good open areas nearby and set up for the evening if you miss out in the morning.

Had block 6 few years back mate shot a decent buck and we also got a hind. Big open cut area in the middle. We found south of the cut overs was were the deer seemed to cross from the farm/block 7 good hunting in there. We seen a huge(dog sized) black cat in there right on first light

Had block 6 in June. Heaps of deer at the far end. I was going to sit until dark but the wanker on the farm the other side of 7 started shooting just after 2pm. Fired about 50 shots before 3pm. Stopped for 1/2 an hour then started up again. I'd had enough & headed out. Bumped into the patrol & they said he does it most week ends, both days.

My understanding is you get a telling off and a 2 year ban.
