Nice! Hopefully the weather has come right by then!

He's said that block 9 is closed this year due to tree felling so 8 is the only block for hunting north of Tasman Road. There is a new cutover at the top of the carpark road which he couldn't remember the name of.(sorry not much help there)

I believe pigs are fair game with no limit while you're ballotted in there and he told me recently someone pulled an 80kg one out of there while after deer.

Generally speaking I have heard from others it best up there to find yourself a spot with a couple of long sight lines on a track junction or similar and wait for the animals rather than walk all over the place. The deer will use the tracks for short stints before returning to the trees.
