    Work and Hunt

Is there anyone who has or know someone who has a farm or any type of remote business in NZ that would let an American work for them. I would like somewhere remote with good hunting and fishing nearby. I know this is probably a shot in the dark but probably in 3 years i am going to fly down to NZ for the Alaskan winter.

All Americans have to wear tracking collars while in NZ, so just check the potential employer is fine with that, and you're good to go

Alaskaman if that is what you want to do then make sure that you obtain a work visa.

You could try getting some work on our largest sheep farm in the North Island (Lochinver station). The guys there have rights to private hunting blocks which back onto the farm. It's under new ownership so try contacting these guys: http://listings.fta-companies.co.nz/...td-in-Auckland. They take ownership in March 2016 so at the moment Stevensons still own it.

If you are under 30 years old you can apply for a 1 year working holiday visa. See nz immigration web site for info.
