    The worsley

Any info on hunting round here, have a fishing trip coming up on Lake te anau but am more keen on taking my rifle, planning on staying at the hut so anywhere up the river for some day hunts but will have the boat so can travel anywhere.
Have been told the otherside of the lake might be better?
    Cheers

Behind the hut.. Talking to some blokes who had just come out of there and an inquisitive wap type spiker wouldn't leave them alone. Im not advocating shooting wap types. But deer not far away.

Go up the Worsley, hang the first right, Castle River. Bash your way up to the flats in the headwaters. I could never figure out why the Worsley Stream is so called- it's 80 metres wide at the mouth, yet the tributary Castle River you can leap across at the mouth. And what's the difference in NZ between a river, a stream and a creek?

Yeah that's what I had figured off Google maps and NZ topo, although Google maps is a bit average with the shadows of the mountains.

I did also think that haha how is the Worsley considered a Stream, weird standereds..
