    Mikee - I see you are from Nelson. As the 7mm-08 caliber is a Ponsonby Latte sippers pill, would you please kindly return your firearm and all associated ammunition and reloading equipment back to it's rightful place

    Sure you will find Pengy, that if the shot is not a bang flop and takes off through the bush, it is best to wait 5-10min (which seems more like 2hrs) as Toby said. This will let the animal settle down and a better chance to recover. Easier to follow the blood trail of a slow moving deer. Chasing after it will only push it further away.
