    Ive waited a couple of time's due to the fact that ive been in an area were if it did get up I would be able to not only shoot it again but see what direction it fucked of to if the second shot missed ,it shouldn't be an ego thing as ive seen animals shot and run never to return from 223's right up to 338's.so I think it is fair to the animal and yourself to check your ego at the door and put another round up the spout no matter what cal when your in a position were your futher away than a hundred yards or have some tight scrub and gullys between you just my two cents.
