About LinkBacksAbsolutely, reload immediately, heard of plenty of cases where the hunter has been admiring his shot, when the animal got up and fucked off he wasn't ready to put another one in it.
I think people are also trying to apply the wait 5 minute rule to every situation, it mainly applies where the animal has been hit and run off into cover/over the ridge etc. Obviously if you can still see it and it looks like it is getting up shoot the fuckin' thing again!
