Thread: WTF is wrong with people?

42 Traverse today and spotted this at the carpark.

Not much better than the idiots throwing their McDonald’s leftovers packaging or their jim beam cans through the window on the open road.

Yeh, we have two legged pigs here too.

I hate litter. I'd put it up there with the worst crimes and would punish accordingly.

It’s not like they had to pack it out, they were right there at the road end… just put it in their wagons and take it home!

Years ago through the old hunting forum we did a clean up on Clements Road with various members participating, we got a fairly hefty sized trailer load of rubbish for our efforts.

Exactly what I think when seeing litter discarded by lazy, uncaring jerks who don't give a seconds thought to the consequences. It pisses me off totally.
Sadly we now have in society a generation to whom this is acceptable or normal behaviour. Somehow we have failed in not setting the necessary example showing how unacceptable this is and that people need to take responsibility.
And maybe we have not followed through with suitable punishments to discourage it.
I remember years ago in Singapore being very impressed at how clean and tidy the streets and shopping precincts were. There were signs up warning that anyone caught littering could face an on the spot fine of $500.00 Seemed to work just fine there.

"WTF is wrong with people?" ...Shouldn't say that too loud as these days it seems many accept the challenge and go beyond just to prove a point....

I am left wondering the point that if we managed to rid the world of these oxygen theives, would that make a dent in the CO2 pollution? It also seems that we have set the bar so low on standards in society that even pond scum struggles to get under it....

Easy, with how it is now mum obviously wasnt there to clean up after them

They should be made to get on their knees and eat their own rubbish up and swollow it.Bastarts.Couple of yrs ago,a lady in Fairlie watched some holiday makers from Aucklnd(kiwis) throw their take aways rubbish out the car window just west of Fairlie on the main road.She quickly picked up the rubbish and followed them to Tekapo,opposite the church.As they were sitting in their car,she walked up to the drivers windows giving it a tap.Driver switched window down,she said oh sir you left something in Fairlie,driver oh no I didn't,lady said yes you did,she thru the lot thru the window all over the driver and passager.She gave him a ear fill,with M Donalds Ashburton rubbish to chu on.Thats news even hit the local news paper.Too much rubbish gets thrown out the windows in the McKenzie.
