Yes, finding it up the creek bed was very impressive, especially since the finder had never done that sort of thing before. He is a very astute man who says he's listened to us all talking about how we do things and decided he'd copy our style. He showed great dilligence and went far further than I'd have thought.
I must say we couldn't wipe the grin off his face for the next 24hrs, made harder by his shooting his first deer the next day.
Talk about encouraging your family to take up a great sport............
