    Have seen this a couple of times before, mainly on fallow though.

    If what I used to get away with selling once or twice a few years ago is anything to go by I would not worry about it.
    Like Josh says as long as it wasnt in the sun to long and no meat is taken from around the wound or gut cavity it will be sweet.
    Even if clean shot and you do the best job in the world gutting them, they will still smell gutty if left over night.
    Nothing to worry about unless you have a grumpy stockman checking the carcass for sale.
