I took my boy out to feed my duck pond yesterday. He played psp the whole way and commented when he got back "dad, I didn't really notice anything".

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

When I first started out didn't know any better & used a 223, factory ammo & 4x scope for everything that walked. I kinda miss those simple days as now I find myself sitting on a hilltop with some mega clear optics, wind meter, rangefinder, ballistics chart on Iphone, Specialised Long range rifle topped with Nightforce & painstackingly crafted handloads to go whack an animal at some ungodly distance just to have to then walk half a day to go get it! I've now added a little Kimber 308 to my arsenal so I can do some get back to basics hunting - if you cant see it with the naked eye yourl just have to stalk closer![]()
