sweet as mate, yep I heard they can be tricky, especially if they get hammered under the spotlight, or murapara moon beam as I like to call it haha
Just turned 22, have been hunting since i was about 16 when i first got my firearms licence. Never had the opportunities before this. so spent allot of time learning the hard way!
I just joined the 30's club this year.
Im 25 only just count as a hunter as i don't get the time.
But i do own a couple of Gun Safes :)
I don't poach or spotlight i love getting out for the walk way more then shooting something.
Shooting game is a bonus but it dose not make the hunt for me.
Infact i have walked away from more deer this year then I have even shot
When im back down in welly im keen to get out and about for a hunt, explore some doc land. Havent been able to get out for the last two years as i havent kept my guns with me. Will take a gun safe down to the new flat next year, and maybe the bow. You managed to score a deer down there yet dougie?
I'm going on 33... Have never been hunting in NZ.
Feck yeah, sounds good mate. Kinda looks like me and ebf are starting a regular walking thing. He's kicking my ass up the hills still but I'll get there
Haven't found any spots with even remotely any sign round here yet eh. Tahr has made a suggestion for me, we'll see how that goes. Are you not in Welly atm brother? I have just got a bracket/lock thing going on atm but when I get a safe, if you're a GC you can store shit here if that's easier.
haha chur bro! na back at the farm in the waikato for holidays, coming down for new years tho.
I got a spare safe to take down, but thanks for the offer, we will have to catch up!
Ah sweet, good stuff! The ARDave famdam are another good lot to get amongst down here in Wellies :) I'm in j'ville but right next to the motorway so pretty easy to travel in any direction.
Sorry off topic but are you legally required to store your bows in a safe?
good question, I dont think so, I know you dont need a licence... I would keep it in a safe just to stop the flat mates fucking with it and hurting them selves haha
