About LinkBacksNice Large Red hind after slogging up 3/4 of the way to the tops up Kiko rd 15 years ago. It was in the bush in a sunny spot a couple of a hundred meters off the track. Ruger 270 (wooden stock) Don't see that many reds there now, but I hunt mainly in the bush for Sika now with a Sako 243. Was pretty young so It was an awesome feeling only to be bettered by my first 8 point Sika stag.
