There is definitely skill involved alot of dudes spend a large chunk of their spare time training up and breading their dogs to get them how they want them to preform. My old man and multiple relatives and family friends have gone through generations of dogs, over the course of their hunting 'career'. Its no surprise the dogs killed a pig weighing in at 15 lb, alot of the time when the pork gets a bit chewed up or the dogs get a bit beat up, its due to you not getting there quick enough or them bitting off more then they can chew lol (pr just running into one willey bastard) if you get there quick and sort things out quick its almost a surgical affair. And your dogs may be able to catch a pig and hold it for a while but I'm yet to see them flip one over and poke it in the heart. I grew up eating wild pork as a staple and Im yet to fall victim to sickness derived from 'bone taint'. In the end the dogs love it and its a hell of a rush.
