About LinkBacksIMHO If I had 1600 to spend on a new rifle I would go and get a Tikka and put the rest towards optics and you know its going to shoot well, where as you go and get a winchester extreme and you might get one with a good barrel and it might shoot average for 1599 or get a titan or what ever and it might be alright but the resale value would be average at best PLUS they are not popular for a reason.
