About LinkBacks14x1 is pretty common, its "factory" on several euro manufactured rifles, and if the OP had plans to go to a 308 or something 284 or bigger at a later stage then a 14x1 might worthwhile cause its a better thread size once you start moving "up" from the 224's, and with a DPT he could get away with just buying the back section and using his 224 baffles in the meantime . . . .
