Thread: 15x56mm Binoculars - please educate me!

I have been having a look through some Meopta 15x56mm HD binos over the weekend and quite like them.

Anyone else using these or something like them for long range shooting? Steel shooting or paper punching? Pros and cons versus a spotter? Do the doublers work well?

What about tops or open country hunting - anyone using 15x binos? How do you find them?


My plan is to use these Meopta 15x56mm binos at our Hihitahi Challenge this weekend and see how they go. They were quite usable without a tripod but I expect they would be all the better with a tripod.
