    A-17

    A A-17 found its way home in the boot of my car yesterday...

    Plan is to Jenny Craig it and put a suppressor on. It'll be a DPT centre fire over barrel or the rimfire one.

    Question is which one? Just not sure with chopping a semi .17 of how much blowback a bigger suppressor would generate, with over time putting stress on the action or am I over thinking it?

    Any experiences out there...?

    Rimfire one works just fine, really takes the bark out of the HMR.
    No experience with it on a semi however.

    HMMMM chopping the A17 could be interesting as they have a delayed blow back system. It would be unfortunate if it caused a cycling issue.
    My MAE 22rf supressor is more than good on the 17HMR

    I just got a Rossi (aka CBC/Mossberg) 17hmr recently, and I moved my DPT 22 5 baffle can onto it just fine.

    I got a little hardy rimfire can on my A17. Contrary to all the skepics on 17hmr semi auto it works well.
