    I see Blaser now has a kit out, to convert the R8 to rimfire and 17 or 22 Hornet,
    perhaps an option for those with a R8,
    I've had two Cz .17 hornets and have Anschutz 1771 a very nice choice, but quite a bit heavier than the CZ American,
    Pedersoli has taken over the Layman mini sharps, and has them in 17 and 22 hornets, for those interested in a single shot.
