Thread: 17 Hornet. Thoughts?

Same load here also. I'm seating mine out as far as I can go. Have the 25g to try for a rainy day

The more I read, the more I want one now. I’m not into reloading, how have you all found the factory Hornady rounds??
I already have a 1771 in .223 but @Noswal if you ever decide to sell your hornet, let me know!!

I can almost guarantee he'll never sell it.

Factory loads shoot good in mine. Disregard the others, circled the 3 shot group this was when I was adjusting my scope.

@JohnQT there was one on Trademe today or yesterday, a savage if I recall. Not too badly priced either.

Mine with factory Hornady 20 gr V-max.
I haven’t reloaded for it yet, that is still to come.

Yea I did see that one. Price was good, but I’m personally not a Savage fan

Full length resize - no. Neck sizing only needed, up to 20 reloads.

I have a Ackley Hornet and have shot Hornady 17 hornets through it good results. Bought a packet of sellior and bellot that wouldn't chamber, obviously different specs.
