    18 inch 260 rem speeds

    another question to my previous thread
    what kind of speeds are you guys getting out of short barrel 260's 18-20 inch looking at going to 18 but don't want to over do it

    My 20" tube pushs 120 NBT at near 3k.

    If Im planning on shooting further than I'm happy to use a 120 6.5 pill I'll take my 284 or 7Saum running a 162.

    I've just picked up a 6.5CM with a 20" tube I've got 123amax laying around so that's going to be used first.
    Where did you get that superformance powder from Brads?

    So would i be correct in saying that I could be reasonably confident in getting at least 2700 if not closer to 2800 with an 18" barrel and a 120 or 123 I realise live isn't without risk

    2209 and 45gns I think. Lonnng throated tikka so could seat those 140's right out - heaps of room for powder
