Hi every body,
Long story short I have picked up a 1939 Mosin Nagant full wooded and a 1918 British 303 full wooded with bayonet, both in good condition
can anybody tell me what they are worth? ( estimate for insurance )
any help would be appreciated.

Mosins would mostly seem to sell for between $250 to $500 depending on condition. Some more unusual / rare ones go for more. Others less so. A 1939 would normally be the 91/30 or similar. The Polish or Hungarian M44 (shorter barrelled Carbines) usually pick up a little more but they are usually made in teh 50s from ones I have come across.
The 303 is a much harder estimate. In very good nick barely used and well maintained the can fetch quite a bit from the right buyer, poorly maintained or old / worn out they are far less almost to the point of junk. That one is probably best to be seen in the flesh so to speak and valued as a lot of the factors cannot be clearly seen or described online.
For insurance I would go high, say $600 for the mosin and $1200 for the Enfeild.
As to what they would actually sell for, well we would need more info and detailed photos to help for that. Enfeilds in particular are all over the place due to uneducated buyers who "just want one" and there for are not to price of detail sensitive

For the Mosin, if its hex receiver then a tad more than a round, but prewar are generally in better condition than mid 40s.
however i suggest you dont sell it, they are stupidly good fun.
If it's finnish add some more.
I just sold my 1939 91/30 for $300.
Was only average condition, but I smoothed the bolt contact surfaces, so it was easy to work the action.
Had a good trigger to start with. A bonus.
A 1918 No1 Mk3* could be $200 to $1200 depending on the condition. Also some are rarer than others and a few could fetch $Ks. A picture of the RHS wrist markings would be the minimum, but 8 or 10 pics overall would help.
