    20 Moa measurements

Can someone please give me the measurements of each end of a 20 Moa rail in mm or point of a mm.

Want to mill off the difference and lap the rings to give me 20 Moa on a set of Talleys.

    Has anyone tried this?

You will have to work that out - 20 MOA is 1/3 of a degree

clamp the rings on to a bit or bar is easiest an them mill them as you will have to lap the f&$k out of them.

20moa amount off the front one will depend how far apart your rings are, google should help you

About 1mm off the front normally

I think you would be better of bedding your bases on the receiver or bedding the scope tube on the ring at a desired angle.
It is not easy to explain how to do it.

My trigonometry is crap. I found a table on the web using shims under rings with a 4" spacing.
From memory, using that table I milled 0.024" of the top of the front Optilock base, instead of using shims under the rear ring, giving me approx 20 MOA.
