.22 or .223 suitable for tall bugger

So, in recent times it's become apparent that I need either a .22 or a .223 for pest control and knocking over goats (.223). I have a Rossi .22 10/SA which has the dimensions (for my tall lanky frame) of a childs toy, which makes it less than ideal to use, it needs the butt extending to improve LoP and that'll probably bugger up the eye relief so I'll possibly need to re-scope or remount the existing scope so I'm thinking reserving that for possums.....soooo my question is what .22 or .223 will be a closer fit out the box, anyone with any recommendations? For reference I'm 6'2" with arms like an Orangutan

Bruno #2 .22lr are built for full size. Fitting a big recoil pad helps too.

Have a look at @Tentman and his post about the bergara stoke. They come with a adjustable LOP with spacers in the butt. Available in a range of calibres including 223.

I think the latest model Ruger American stock have the ability to be adjusted with inserts, they are hard to beat in the "cheap and cheerfull" category.

Good reading but I've got hands like shovels, so probably not a go-er BUT, I'll find a shop with one and try it for size

How was you're one for line of sight? That one looks like I'd need a comb raiser on it by the time I've scoped it?

The Gen 2 looks like a nice rifle for the money and reviews laud it's accuracy.....cheap is good as I've yet to add a SA shotty and an over and under 12ga to the safe...still Christmas is not so far away and I'm sure if I drop enough of them, wifey will get the hint
