22-250 std profile, 22-250 Bull barrel or target 308 ?

I have a SPS varmit in 22-250AI that I am pulling of as its a non std cal and won't sell well. I could set the barrel back the length of chamber and ream to std 22-250 (more work as I would have to cut a new thread)

I have a std profile barrel in 223 1:12 twist that I could ream to std 22-250 (have the reamer) and put it in a wood stock I have and the Daughter could use it for a bit then sell it

or I have a hammer forged 1:12/13 target barrel in 308 that is still mint I could fit and leave the std stock on it and sort a load then sell

If I had a 6.5 or 338 barrel lying around I would serioulsy think about SAUM But I dont have either and that would mean bolt modds and I dont have the time to stuff around as I have a couple of others on the go.

    Whats your thoughts :-?

Or who has a 6.5 barrel as 260 is also an option...6.5 mmx6mmRemAI (with Mag Modds) or 6mm and 6mmBR and 243AI are options but then back to harder to sell

If you find a 6.5mm barrel you can use my reamer. After my chamber is cut first of course.

Otherwise .22-250 would be a bit of fun.

Are you building something for Rose specifically?

What about 22-243AI. That would work with your Reamer wouldn't it?

My reamer is a std 22-250 and resale AI is harder to move on, Rose can use it for a bit but it will get moved on.... If I didn't move the 338 barrel I had on to Walker 338 SAUM would have been built just to play...... When this is sold I may get a Marlin 7-08 for Rose to use and have a look at them to play with later....maybee

Kids 6.5BR might get looked at later if I can mod the mag box and ejector bar to fit 260 yet....... (your reamer) then the 338 would be next

22-250 then. Better resale as you said.

7-08 with light bullets would be good for the kids.

I'll send you a 6br barrel and given its low re-sale value you can then sell it to me cheap...

I may after today have a new trueflite #4 Profile 6.5 barrel you can buy for the same price I got it for. It may be a bit heavy for what I want.

Actualy have a heavy 6.5 shillen ariving today with a 1:8 twist.... so 260 and 6.5SAUM are also options but I wont want to sell it if I use that... and will have more cost so less profit to fund other bits I am after.... Oh the choices
