Deadeye Dicks have brand new Sig Mosquitos for $600. Deadeye Dicks - Rimfire Pistol

I've got about 10K+ rounds through mine, works decent enough. It's only 90% the size of a P226, so my thumbs sometimes touch the slide and cause malfunctions. 22 Sigs, GSGs, Chiappas and Walthers are made from cast zinc alloy (potmetal), which is only used for it's cost effectiveness. But then Hi-Point make their 9, 40 and 45 from cast zinc alloy if that says anything.

If you want a service style plinker I'd get a M&P22. Product: Smith & Wesson Model M&P22 - 12 Rounds
They have 12 round mags (all the rest have 10), are full sized and nearly identical to centerfire M&Ps, and are made from machined aluminium.
Petone Gunshop have some on order, but couldn't give me a delivery date when I emailed them. They said they'd retail for around $600.

If you're not worried about it looking like a service pistol, you couldn't go wrong with any of the Ruger 22s.
