Thread: 22 wmr vs goats

I've shot quite a few goats with the 22Wmr. Best bullet was the fiocchi 40 grain followed by the winchester 40 and 100 yds would be the absolute max. Small goats fall over easily but a big Billy or nany can be a very different story. I've gone back to the 223, ammunitions about the same price and you have the luxury of a "bit more range" and oomph for when you don't get it right.
