Thread: 22 wmr vs goats

I agree mickey that 223 is superior as that is why I owned the evil black gun but even that I would not pull the trigger pointed skyward.
And I was thinking to try the 22 mag subs for possum in the hope that they will be safer in that respect.
That said whether they will cycle in a semi may well be an issue also. And as much of the type of ranges it will be used for will be close enough to be considered point blank
the extra legs of the 223 are unnecessary.
And I usually have a family member with me carrying a center fire should we stumble across something larger but in these spots that has only ever happened once in several years.
