Thread: For the 222 Fans

Whilst on tour the other day I visited on a few gunshops as you do, and set foot in a H&F (Cromwell, the only one I'll grace these days, all other branches can go hang) and they had a beauty that someone might like . . .

A Sako Walnut Blued 222, I think a model 75 but marked as an A1 (it certainly had the 3 lug action) - a rifle that has been carried a lot so not pristine on the outside, but the bore was perfect. Optilocks with a 1" Burris 3-9. Missing the foresight blade. Listed on behalf at $1999 so maybe an offer might score it.

A very nice practical rifle if a 222 is your hearts desire!!

I miss my one sometimes preferred it to my 223

I went tahr hunting a couple weeks back so had to repay my end of the deal and take mrs to queenstown for a few days, bloody place does my head in!

Must be a bit better not crawling with tourists I went there last year for the first time nothing there for me other than airport

Is the airport bar which was owned by "Jim" the weatherman still a ripoff, or have they had to drop their ridiculous prices.
