About LinkBacksInteresting scenario, I've had a .22-250 for years, issue with it was I wanted to put bigger pills than 5gr down but the 1:14 would allow that... so some thinking was done, result...
I have a new 1:8 twist 24" barrel being put together and reamed to .22-243... quite comfy for pushing the 74g pills have...
Confirm your twist rate and decide what size pills you want to use, if they won't work either rebarrel or just buy what you want to fit the purpose...
