    .223 ammunition

Anyone got any good sources for reasonably priced bulk .223? Anything better priced out there at the moment than Reloaders BVAC?

That mob up north that manufactures ammo. Same price as the training ammo but with brass cases.
I'll save you a few rounds to try out.

Belmont? Never used it but there was a write up in NZ guns & hunting a while back, they seemed to think it was pretty good.

I got a couple of boxes just to try it out. I'd hate to get 5000 and find it doesn't shoot!

I'm sure they'll be producing more, and there is probably a better chance of getting it from them than the US.

Ah yeah. I'd already emailed them... so that's the best deal around then.

They certianly seem hard to beat on brass.

Wondering just how well primer supply will hold up however, are any made in OZ?

Not as far as I'm aware, there must be European sources though.

    Anyone tried these guys?

ORDNANCE DEVELOPMENTS LTD ::: Training & Special Purpose Ammunition ::: Wanganui New Zealand

They supply ammo for military and Police.

Maybe get everyone together for a massive bulk buy and then ask for some prices.

Sorry, just realised that they're Belmont Ammo.

The zinc coated stuff from Belmont was hard to extract in my Howa. Accurate enough but after a few rounds I packed it away as I didn't want to have a jam. Luckily I still have a few boxes of that Hornady training ammo left
