223 Dial Scope On A Budget

    Gidday,

Any recommendations for a good value scope that dials in 3 - 14 ish power range? Around the $500 - 700 mark? 1” tube.

Would like to do a bit more longer range varminting.

Am I best to wait for an older VX3 Leupy or the likes. Or are there any overseas websites I could save a few bucks on that currently ships NZ?

    Cheers

I got a second-hand Burris Signature 3-15x44 from Dreamer on here - nice little scope for the money, clear glass and dials well. Would rate it well above a VX3 having owned both.

A Hawke would fit that bill nicely. Air rifle scope, they're built tougher as a result.

That is something that has peaked my interest. Could probably stretch the budget more for something like that

Similar price bracket and worth considering Element Optics 2-16×50 HDLR, very good scope comes in mil or moa, has illuminated reticle and zero stop.
I have found mine to dial very reliably.

This. Excellent for your purpose. Check out what reticle.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

Unfortunately they no longer seem to be available with just the standard duplex reticle.

They all seem to be the E3 or whatever it's called. Rare to see a duplex for sale now, as I've been looking....
