I did already just get sick of shells rattlin in my pockets

I've got a leather centerfire belt, not sure if it would fit .223 though. Will see if its still out in the shed.

make your own: if you've got a webbing or fabric belt, it's not hard to sew on your own elastic to hold the shells - frankly I find most shell-holders come with loops that are waaay too big - you lose your ammo too quickly. (check out a ridgeline belt-bag ammo pouch or even a markhor pack and you'll see what I mean). Use good quality elastic - mark out the spacing first. You don't need to be a whizz with a sewing machine!

then you only have to worry about mags ratteling in your pocket
it sure beats loading mags on the run
