I'm gunna put mine in here, it doesn't quite fit but it should be easy to sort that out.
Can you lighten the trigger or not? Looks like the only adjustment is that little screw behind the trigger?
I've been collecting up bits for a while so looking forward to transforming it, just waiting on sum glass bedding stuff to turn up and then its time to have a go.
I've watched a few videos been a good leaning experience so far....

Its not what you get but what you give that makes a life !!
The easiest bedding / inleting a stock that I have seen was a very simple plan. He got the original wooden stock and planed it down on the sides and base until it was square without touching the top. Then he inletted his new piece of wood for the stock to fit this nice square profiled piece of wood and glued the original inlet into his new stock. technically it is still "factory bedded" into an aftermarket (read home made) stock.......He had to do something as the original stock had been snapped and the only part that was any good was the piece around the action..
I love mine. I brought it on the day I got my firearms license when I was 16 and its done me well over the past 29 years. Shot plenty of possums, rabbits and deer and its still going strong.
Has anyone had much success with adjusting the trigger? I know you can fiddle with replacing the spring and polishing. I am just wary of losing the case hardening
It feels OK just seemed to shoot really average with pmc zapper.
Im not sure they are all that hard to start with, I think the spring can be replaced/shortened. The screw controls the depth of sear engagement so be very careful playing with that. The way they work there is always going to be a trade off between travel and pull force.
both the ones Ive owned and the other 2 Ive used had great triggers...and for what its worth mine hated zapper with a vengence...couldnt hit side of a barn if were standing inside it.
Russian - try some Fiocchi High velocity, Win powerpoint or win subs - JWS often like those.
Finally had a rainy day to finish this off....
Started like this....
Along the way it has a bit of this...
And this...
This was really good ! Bolt is so much smoother
Its had a few new bits (where there is a will there is a way)...
And now it is this....very happy.... learnt a lot along the way
Even shoots ok, did my own test and seems the Winchester subs were the winner but most importantly for me...
"All were between the possums eyes"
