About LinkBacksI know people do it, especially with old BSA falling block style actions. But the.22 WMR uses a .224" groove diameter and .219" bore diameter while .22 LR uses .222" and .217". So you would need to think about the extra pressure involved and the ability for the action to take that pressure spike going down a slightly tighter barrel.
