Guess it depends on how hot you load em.

If you're going for distance then those 90-95 Targex pills don't need a heap of speed to be accurate (from my experience) and kill well.

Pretty sure I had mine rolling out at 2950 and grouping very tightly. They make quite a solid this when used on possum at around 70 yds...

The bc on the 87 vmax is also adequate enough for serious long range accuracy too... Did I see the ELDM in 105? Pretty sure that will be too long for the 10 twist though unless someone here has some experience?

The 100 plus grns are too long in a 1:10 some say the 105 targex work but even Targex himself said it needs a 1:8
I would say the 87 VMAX would be the go for that 1:10

He was making 2 different 105gr, one specifically for standard 1-10 barrels. They work very well as do all the tgx bullets Iv tried.

It's way too long. I've still got a box of 105 Amaxes that won't shoot straight, so the 105 ELD's won't unless you've got a faster twist

They Vmax87's are the business... nice and fast too ... 3300 ish from memory although I may stand corrected on that.

The Targex 95's are the ultimate though. Mine run at 2960 over a very full case of 2225 10thou off the lands ... are shittingly accurate ... and great killers

70gr Speer TNT, work up a charge with ADI-2208. I had mine shooting just under 2inch groups at 300m using this combo that's around .6MOA.
Add a suppressor and barrel jump is greatly reduced and recoil is almost like a .223.
Also the Speer TNT is dirt cheap.

Good to hear about the 95gr targex. I'm very keen to try some, but I'll probably wait to shoot all my 87gr bthps before moving on.
