    As logesearle said 6.5x55 ammo isn't hard to get but much of it is downloaded (especially the US brands) because of the perceived risk from firing in old Swedish mausers. Ammo for the 260 Rem can be thin on the ground and expensive too. Personally I used the 6.5x55 for 15yrs before changing and I still recommend it. The 6.5 calibre gives you a large choice of projectiles and weights if you want to get into reloading too.
