Hey guys I own a sako a7 in 30.06 that has fired about 50-60 shots. I was thinking about selling the 30.06 and buying a 300wsm in tikka t3 blued for longer range shooting over gullies in aus as well as nz. Wat do u think??

You would be gaining around 200fps.
I assume you have a range finder already? Then practice long range shooting, develop a drop chart, know the actual drop you will have with the 06 at those ranges and got hunting.
Welcome to Sako club.
Something in 7mm wsm saum or rem mag.
Better bc projectiles in 7mm

"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
how far extra do you want to go?
Also tikkas blueing is shit better to go stainless and paint it if you want a dark colour.
30-06 is a very capable round. better to spend that money on a good set of glass and a range finder
the 300wm will also be vicious recoil wise in a light tikka package.
Id say get some optilocks and a sitron S111 and your choice of range finder and you will alot further out than you expected
as above...not that much gain with the WSM 30-06 and reloading with good BC pills will stretch the range of the 30-06, Berger have 30cal pills up in the 7's now but they would be a touch heavy for both the 30-08 and wsm really to get good impact speed... but they have lighter in the .5+ BC that would be very handy in 30-06, If you dont reload get some made
Fishing ... Hunting its all good
