Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

The 308 to 300 saum would be practical with the 178 a-max

Is the bolt face job for the 300 not too expensive?

Just neck it down to 6mm Gibo you could call it a 30/243 😄

    Yea Iv got one.
    178s at 2975fps 25.5 inch barrel.

The rebated case head ideally suited the 308 Sako as opening up the boltface is not really an option.

Goes well even with some projectile sitting down in the case.

Im not really up on the rems cos id rather have a tikka or savage or mossberg but it is pretty simple to open the boltface I think?

30-284 should in theory be the ballistic twin of 30-06 but with the right powder and lapua brass mine seems to be capable of much much more than that.

No not wrong action,308 length actions is what the 284 case was designed for but being a Rem it would be easy to open bolt face for say SAUM.

Gibo's what the fuck are you talking about? Sounds like you have a .308 which probably the most in use calibre in the country so leave it alone mate. It is all good just the way it is. You wouldn't take a six inch penis and decide to reduce it down to five now would you?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

So explain to me how .284 is bigger than .308? You only went to school to eat your lunch and to have somewhere to wag from and go surfing eh Gibo?
