    .30 cal 1-7 or 1-8 twist barrel

Looking for a 1-8 or 1-7 twist 30 cal barrel.
Apart from hardy or trueflight can anyone suggest who else might be able to supply?
    Prefer stainless.

How does it shoot, given you probably have some idea what I want it for.
I have not used one and if you look on the www there are mixed reviews

Give John at Vulcan barrels an email. His barrels are top notch and he has loads of buttons. He might even have a .308" progressive twist button to customize it to any twist you want and they are half the price of hardys and trueflights. He does 4140CM and Stainless 416R both the same price. The stainless ones are lovely to machine and the 5 I have fitted in the last few months shoot great!

I run hardy barrels in my comp gun and 7 saum, absolute tack drivers, my mate has probably 9 of their barrels, 2 300norma (ones a norma improved now) included, he runs the 250 atips in the 9 twist no issues. Definitely no problems with accuracy. The stainless barrels seem to be very forgiving in my experience and the carbon wrapped a touch more finicky but still no dramas to get shooing very well

Really happy with the 1:7 416R barrel in 300BLK, easy cleaning, stabilises big heavy projectiles and have had 5000+ rounds of mainly subsonic shooting 1 moa and less at 400m with 208gr A-max,ELD-m and 125gr sst,eld-m,TMK supers. It was the first 1:7 30 cal they made. I’ve read mixed reviews too about there suppressors and barrels in their earlier days.
Once I cook the 308win will probably get them to put on a 1:7 replacement on it.

Talk to the guys at Dead Eye Dick's. They've got some on the shelf.
