    Ok thanks ill have a go at that. I tried putting a bit of wax on pill etc but still no change. This is the first set of hornady dies that have left the ring on pills for me, but it is a fairly compressed load

    Sweet thanks mate ill give that a go too. Yea ive never really had any issues, I just have the old lock n load setup but it seems to work for me

    If you lube for seating ie dip the projectile in graphite make sure you do them all, or its another variable you have added

    Do those pills fit in the mag ok or are r u single loading?

    The ring impression on the projectile obviously has no effect on the performance so I wouldn't bother changing anything

    Getting close to 300 RUM velocity with 208 gr , pretty damn good for a 300 Win.
