Thread: 300win mag re barrel

A 24' barrel still shoots the 212 eldx at 3000fps so dont think the extra 2+ inches is needed. Its still very portable also, use mine for everything, in the bush for very close stuff and out to as far as you like really. Have a brake and a suppressor for it also. Just put it in daypack and spook and shoot as is or screw on suppressor when needed. Generally If you have time to range and dial, put plugs in ears etc then you have time to screw a brake or suppressor on the weapon.
